Welcome to Ballina Bridge Club.
Ballina (Home of the "Big Prawn") Bridge Club is a member of the Australian Bridge Federation and conducts regular playing sessions at its clubhouse in North Creek Road, Ballina. Visitors and beginners are always welcome. A good quality car park with disabled parking and easy access to the clubhouse is available.
The club has over 300 members and caters for players of all standards. Experienced teachers are available to assist those who wish to learn or improve in this fascinating game. Lessons are available at advertised times throughout the year. Four short videos of the bridge game are available from our Lessons page.
Regular duplicate sessions are played on most days of the week. The schedule of regular sessions is shown on the website's home page.
We use electronic scoring and provide hand records at the end of play, as well as publishing the results and hand records on our website shortly after each session.
Membership is $45 per year for Home Club members, and $20 for Associate Members, with no joining fee. Fees are due on January 1. Table fees per session are $5 for members and $7 for visitors.
Majong players can become Social Members of the club for $20 per per year. Fees are due on January 1. Mahjong is played from 12.30 on Fridays at the bridge club. Table fees per session are $5 for members and $7 for visitors.
